The role of HR Administrator is to support the HR Manager with certain tasks
. These include:
 
 
  • Outreach and sourcing activities to identify talent to fill vacant or required positions 
  • Sourcing, recruiting and hiring employees 
  • Maintaining payroll, personnel, reporting, and other records as needed 
  • Reviewing applications or resumes, screening applicants, interviewing potential employees, and conducting reference and background checks 
  • Ensuring all personnel records are accurately maintained including maintenance of proper records and documentation of required training, certifications, and compliance  
  • Developing and revising job descriptions and training/certification checklist 
  • Processing payroll for the location
Qualifications for HR Administrator include: 
 
  • College degree 
  • Excellent communication skills in person and over the telephone 
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software
  • Ability to work flexible hours
